Joaquin Fernandez ecological vineyard lies in the beautiful countryside of the Sierra de Ronda.

An avenue bordered by large olive trees leads to the vineyard. The property is surrounded by ornamental and utilizable gardens with lavender and rosemary bushes, beanstalks and lemon trees. These are not only beautiful but also play an important part in the natural pest control.

The various plants and their use , as well as a detailed description about the terrain and the wine production are given during a guided tour.

Mostly red wine grapes are grown in the vineyard and are used for the production of light to heavy red wines and an excellent rosé. On of their Merlot-Syrah wines received the German "Biofach International Wine Award"� in 2008.

The wine tasting takes place on a shaded terrace with a view over the grapevines.
A cosy nook with an open fireplace is where you"™ll do the wine tasting in the colder months. Serrano ham and Manchego cheese is served with the wine and you can order paella.

This vineyard is a beautiful place, set in wonderful surroundings with excellent wines.
