Happy Divers has 2 Diving Centers on the Costa del Sol:
The diving center "Happy Divers Marbella & IDC College"� is located directly at the beach of Atalaya Park Hotel close to San Pedro - between Marbella and Estepona with great view to Gibraltar and the Moroccan coast and has been managed by Peter Deth since 1996.
"Happy Divers "“ Marbella port"� is located in the leisure harbour (Puerto deportivo) of Marbella which is located right in the city center of Marbella.

The dive sites:
The dive sites are approximately 5 to 30 minutes by boat or car. At present there are in total 20 dive sites, 10 sites for boat dives and 10 sites for shore dives. Happy Diver´s Club`s dive sites are spread over about 50 km of coastline, in the area between Marbella and Playa de Casares which is approx. 15 km south of Estepona. Therefore there are many different dive sites.
There are dives for all training-levels. Easy shallow-water dives for beginners as well as demanding current and/or deep dives for experienced divers. All dive sites have a different character; rocky underwater landscape, reefs and wrecks with a rich marine life can be found. Congers, groupers, seahorses, nudibranchs, spider crabs, trigger fish, sunfish and dolphins join the dives.


Interesting marine life is guaranteed, because at Costa del Sol the Mediterranean and the Atlantic Ocean meet one another. Which means that plants and fish from both waters are found.

Diving for children:
Children have to be only 8 years old to discover the secrets of the underwater world on their own. 6 special equipments for children are available.
The manager of Happy Divers Marbella Peter Deth is very experienced in scuba diving with children. He studied pedagogics and managed children-animation and scuba diving for children for 3 years in a German dive club.

From experience it is known that children should not be younger then 8 years old or they could have difficulties to manage the snorkels and/ or the special mouthpieces for child regulators. 8 years old can join the PADI programs "Bubblemaker" and "SealTeam".
