Riding fun in the sun is located on the Manilva road between Sabinillas and Casares.
Jane and Ian have 6 wonderful horses all named after alcoholic beverages. Baileys, Ballantines, Tanqueray,etc.

They offer one route for one hour, which you will regret to not have taken 2 hours instead. For riders who like repeating they have 4 different routes for the two hour ride.
The half day excursion leads down to the river (which in summer is most probably dry) or up to the mountain top from where you will fee to be on top of the world. The half day excursion also includes a free drink and goes for about 3.5 hours.

The full day excursion includes lunch and goes for 3 hour ride, 1h break and then 3.5 hour ride back. Of course the times are not always exact, so it could be 10min less or more. In winter this ride goes down to the beach and is very well booked, so make sure to make your reservation well in advance.

IMPORTANT!!!
* Make a previous appointment as they get quite booked, especially on week-ends.
* Park your car up at the top next to the main road and walk down the hill "“ even the best driver with a fantastic 4x4 will not be able to get down that hill, so please trust our advice and walk.
* remember to wear jeans or at least LONG trouser, sturdy shoes (no flip flops) a head protection and sun lotion. You also might also want to bring some water along.

How to get there:
Take the Manilva road up towards Casares. This means that your need to drive on the A7 direction Algeciras, you will pass a LIDL supermarket and enter Sabinillas. Do not drive through the tunnel, but turn right towards the gas station and head towards the mountains uphill towards Manilva. You will pass a small local fruit vendor, this is a great place to buy Manilva wine, local cheese and other good things. Follow the road for a few kilometers until you see the white village of Casares in the distance, pay attention to a small white arrow with a black horseshoe painted on top. This is where you need to park and walk down the hill. This is also the reason why you need sturdy shoes ! When you arrive at the gate just shout for IAN.
