Aljibe translated means "cistern"�. These water deposits were integrated into the cellar of several townhouses, which were linked between one another. This kept the water from turning stark and provided the entire area with water.
The Aljibe in Granada is located close to the shopping area and is one of the bigger Hammams in Granada. It consists of 7 pools. 1 cold deep one, 2 warm deep long, 2 warm shallow, 2 warm Jacuzzi like).

The session is every 2 hours and takes 1h 30 minutes in which you can enjoy a 15minute massage for a small extra charge, which is worthwhile doing. There is a rest room where you can help yourself to some sweet tea or water and relax in between. Towels are provided and each have their own letter as to distinguish one from the other, seeing as you will be in and out of the water a lot. It has separate changing rooms for men and women. Just bring your bathing suit or Bikini.
