This wonderful restaurant is located at a quiet Square in the middle of old town Estepona. It has many dining tables outside for the summer, but even in winter it is very charming with hand-painted flowers and shells on the walls.

Andalujo Review 2010

With its beautiful fountain and Seville orange trees, the Plaza de Dr. Arce is a delightful place to sit, relax and people-watch. As of August 2009 the opening of MaduBar Fusion restaurant has enriched this Plaza. The restaurant consists of several rooms over two floors as well as outside dining tables. The beautiful painted pink flower climbing up the wall and intertwining itself around the name of the restaurant is the first thing you see as you approach MaduBar and when you walk in you'll see that this theme has been continued and the walls are hand painted with flowers, animals and shells. Each room is individually decorated displaying the magnificent taste of the owners who also run the shop diagonally opposite, which specializes in all kinds of accessories of interior decoration. A small inside patio with a skylight is the perfect place, in addition to the bar, to sit and simply enjoy a glass of wine.

All food is freshly prepared with local produce and the white house wine is delicious. We ordered a mojito to start with and it was perfect. All the toppings for the toasts are served on warm, crunchy, fresh bread are beautifully presented with a small side salad. It may seem unusual to see scrambled eggs on a dinner menu but this is very typical of Southern Spain and the eggs with black pudding, apple and pine nuts, served with a small salad is a must. The pork dishes are exclusively made with Iberian pork and very tasty. Wraps, burgers, grilled vegetables and seafood are also available. No matter what you choose, you can't go wrong in MaduBar.
