This is the oldest Hammam in Granada and is located in the middle of the Albaicin just off Plaza Nueva. It is rather small with1 hot and one cold pool, but has a lot of charm. It is decorated in Alhambra style with fountains which are connected by the typical Moorish waterways flowing into the pool. The tiling is also authentic and archways lead from one room to another. The ceiling has been redone imitating the Hammams of the old days with stars in the ceiling.

The Hammam only has one changing room, as it used to be tradition (and e.g. in Morocco still is) to have different sessions for men and women. However several changing cabins are provided, so it usually should be no problem, it can however get pretty crowded. The lockers take 1€ coins and take your swimsuit or Bikini. Towels are provided and the reception will give you a hairdryer upon request. The warm pool is shallow set underneath a large arch. The resting area is decorated with several candles and scented lamps creating a relaxing atmosphere. Sweet tea is provided so you can help yourself.
