The science park in Granada has 10 interactive exhibition halls. It is a great way for children and adults alike to learn and find out how our enviroment functions. One exhibition hall has a moving dinosaur and the BBC documentary running about their extinction.
The planetarium has shows every hour on the hour for about 30 min, which is held in Spanish. Another big attraction is the observation tower,50 m high with a 360º view over Granada and the Sierra Nevada. You can then walk down the stairs and compare the height with different animals on the way down. The 30.000m2 area of the science park also hosts a butterfly garden, a botanic walkway, a labyrinth and an exhibition of an oil press. If you are lucky you can catch one of the presentations about how the olives used to be processed.
Altogether the park seems a little old and worn down, but the hands on approach is an interesting experience and you should take your time to take advantage of it.
