The wine museum in Ronda is located just behind the cathedral in the house which used to be called the "Giants house". The museum is privately run by the "Bodegas La Sangre de Ronda"� and consists of a beautiful courtyard and 12 rooms located on the top floor which guide you through the basics of what you need to know about wine. Starting from the history of wine in the region of Ronda to the way wine is grown, harvested and made and much more. All the information is nicely presented on big panels in Spanish and A4 size translations in English, German and French - one of the few local museums in Andalucía that we have been to which make the effort of translating all the information.

The entrance for the museum is 4€. In addition you can chose different types of wine tasting as well as a menu.

These can be combined with the below menus. We suggest you at least order menu 1, seeing as you will need to have some food in your stomach.

Menu 1: dried fruit, chips, olives, Iberic meats. No reservation is required.
Menu 2: Iberic meats, cheese, salad, tortilla, anchovies. Reservation required.
Menu 3: menu 2 plus Paella. Reservation required.

The Bodega offers more interesting activities:
Wine tasting: Learn all about how wine is made and learn how to smell and taste a wine. 8-10 wines are tasted, it takes about 2h30 and costs 45€. A minimum of 8pax is required for a wine tasting and reservations are required.
Treading the grapes: this is an activity where you can experience yourself how wine is made and can actually tread on grapes.
